Mark Franssen is a retired police officer and former Captain in the Regular Canadian Armed Forces (Military Engineer Corps) with 27 years of experience specializing in financial crimes and complex fraud investigations. Throughout his law enforcement career, Mark developed a deep specialization in preventing the abuse of older adults, specifically focusing on the exploitation of Power of Attorney (POA) and estate documents. He holds certificates in Elder Law, Last Will and Testament, and Capacity from Osgoode Hall, and has conducted hundreds of presentations helping communities better recognize, prevent, and protect against financial victimization.
